Some believe anything can be a pie and others say that you must 1st clear HFC on mythic to be allowed to join the club...
Other say you must 1st tame a Trex using only your fists...
And in rare cases, you can get the name of Pie by ultra killing team secret...

Today we have one such contestant... you decide the outcome...

Well, the way we look at this, we must look at other things in the same light.

let us use the sausage roll phenomenon and put it in a context we all understand.
Let us compare pies to games.

I personally would take the FPS, MOBA, HACK & SLASH, TCG and SPORTS genres and call it rubbish, they are not worthy of being called games.
Sadly, on the game retailers shelves, they do fall under 'games' tag and I am forced to accept that.

The same thing with pies.
If you walk into any garage and take a look at their 'Pie display' you can clearly see them inside with all the other pie-pies.

I understand the logic is a bit off:
That means if you put anything inside the 'pie display', it automatically becomes a pie, that is true.
Someone shat inside one of those displays, and now they are calling it a 'chicken and mushroom' pie

They did the same with the genres above:
a bunch of developers shat inside a box, and now they're selling it as FPS, MOBA, HACK & SLASH, TCG and SPORTS games.

As stated in the whatsapp group (dam yoko for doing this). I think its too much of a grey area.
A pastry doesn't have to be a pie and a pie doesn't have to have pastry so it leaves some open areas

I'm voting no purely on the basis that I feel there isn't enough definition to definitely call it a pie and thus it would be unfair to label something as a pie when it may not be
